If that’s the one whose head twists round no thanks, it makes me giddy.

He was trying to pick up boys for some after-school sex. His line about
Harry Potter being gay was to see who responded.

Harry Potter is a fictional character, so it doesn’t matter.

Getting the legendary "Ivor Gumjob" is probably worth at least a Happy Meal.

"Supernatural" (how I hate that word) children would probably come in
under the "gifted and talented" end of the IQ spectrum.

Such children generally highlight the majority of these following
    characteristics:

    Enjoys challenging activities,
Self motivated in areas of interest,
Demonstrates a wide variety of interests,
Critically evaluates self and any studies under scrutiny,
    Shows good organisation skills,
Has intense interest in what they do,
Shows intense curiosity about many things,
    Sees beyond the obvious,
Deals with abstract and complex ideas easily and quickly,
    Masters new concepts quickly,
Intuitively knows before they get told anything,
    Does in-depth investigations,
Has excellent short and long term memory,
Demonstrates mastery of status quo benchmarks and then goes further,
    Persuasive,
Thinks clearly and shows good judgment,
    Sought out by others,
    Carries responsibilities well,
Has unusual insight or perception regarding others,
Appears to be liked by others across the general community,
    Articulate,
Tends to direct others in group activities,
Takes an active role in decision making situations,
    Generates many ideas,
Strives to be original and creative in everyday life,
Has many activities going at the same time,
    Excited about new ideas,
    Takes risks,
Usually can come up with several answers to the same question,
Recognizes subtle differences in language usage,
    Displays keen sense of humour,
    Uses wit,
Understands and uses various terminologies (from music to sciences),
Thinks outside the box and keeps on going,
    Plays the chameleon with style,
    Mesmerises…

I mentioned/showed this list (re mindset) before in terms of people
getting into Chaos Magic. Unfortunately, the term "ego" got raised to
such an extent, here on alt.magick, that any dialogue that could have
    happened, died before situ.

Now I have raised two kids in the "gifted and talented" end of the
spectrum (they took after their mother) … so I happen to have a
fairly good idea of what works (big time) in modern magic and what
    doesn’t.

As for characters like Harry Potter … well … kudos to the author
for creating a framework that will reach out to some muggles whilst the
rest of us do not give a damn (grins).

my sis comes under the gifted and talented part of the school she goes
to. she fits what your saying pretty well apart from the
Enjoys challenging activities – she hates challenging activities
Self motivated in areas of interest, – she has to be pushed by my
    mother.
one thing that stands out about her the most is her sarcasm. she is
sarcastic to the extreme. she got the brains – from dad, and  my
brother and i got the the beauty – mum. my brother is also very smart
but as my mum says "he has wasted himself" hes one of those people
little kids get really frightened of if they see them hanging around
    the park.
anywho on the topic of harry potter is gay. it really depends on what
    gay your meaning.
gay as in happy – harry isn’t really
gay as in crap – i love the harry potter series and i still get tears
in my eyes if i think about dumbledore for too long so thats just WRONG
gay as in homosexual- i often think harry potter and draco malfoy would
make a great couple. the have so much chemistry.
